2025 The Year Ahead

November  3, 2024,  January 3 and April 26, 2025, are all important dates, but Nov 3 was the most important, especially for the United States

It demonstrated that systems or structures  which are weak or not serving their purpose, must give way to something else. As we all discovered, the political parties switched their leadership. That was Pluto in the last degrees of Capricorn.  2025 brings more changes.

These dates are good intersections to ask where we are headed on a personal level. It’s also a time to have faith in that which we cannot see.

We may feel as though we are continually surrendering to something, learning more about forgiveness or often, feeling lost, perhaps confused.

These are sobering times yet, this pause, is ushering in change which has never been experienced in our lifetimes.

That’s the theme for 2025 because we are headed where we’ve never gone before as a collective.

It’s also a time, at least right now, to evaluate what is practical and useful and if it’s not, choose quality over quantity.

All summer, we’ve been focused on specific tasks, and it probably feels like we are out of steam. Most of this past year has been about questions and answers for aspects of our lives, whether it’s work, relationships, family, etc.

This trend has also been about clarifying our position and asking ourselves,

“What have I not been seeing clearly?”

From now until at least mid-May, this process is meant to continue. Another way pf putting this is to chop wood and carry water. Do what’s in front of you to do. Put in the time and get the results.

Probably the most important astrological event of this century is that Pluto moved into Aquarius on November 19, 2024.

It will stay in this sign for 20 years.

The last time this happened was 1777, which was just after the US came into being.

The question facing us right now, is:

“Will the US continue to exist as it has been, or will it develop a new form?”

Aquarius rules innovation, so there are going to be a lot of infrastructure changes.

We are also going to see a lot of inventions and new technology, probably space colonization and weather extremes.

Mercury will be moving retrograde in Sagittarius from November 25 to December 15.

This is about revisiting what we think and believe and honing our authenticity. Quality time spent with others is always a good thing during this transit.

This year feels uncertain because we are in uncharted territory.

That is the essence of Aquarius though because it’s the leading edge of innovation. While that can be exciting, it is also unsettling.

Whatever we’re doing, think about doing it in a slightly or boldly different way.

For example, when networking, you may want to reveal more about yourself. This could feel vulnerable, but it’s also got an exciting edge to it.

People need to reinvent themselves and this trend will continue throughout the year. It doesn’t have to be big, but there must be movement.

Our planet is evolving at a rapid pace right now. If we remain in place, it may feel like the world is leaving us behind, so we’ve got to contribute to the acceleration.

Many of us have been diligently contributing to the Earth’s evolution. We serve as role models for others while facilitating change for those who want and need our services.

A question to ask is,

“How am I contributing?”

This is an important theme for 2025

Aquarius also rules humanity as a whole and while it seems as if governments are ignoring the welfare of its constituents, that trend cannot continue indefinitely.

Those of us who use our voice for humanity will be supporting the flow of change.
